What the scope covered
Below is the contracted scope of work for the example kitchen rehab project in Lubbock, TX, completed in May 2026. The scope lines track the same accountable owner, paperwork trail, and crew quality standards as the rest of our residential rehab portfolio.
- Cabinet refacing along the existing layout plus one new uppers run to the ceiling.
- Quartz countertop replacement across the full perimeter with a new undermount sink and pull-down faucet.
- Plumbing rough-in replacement under the sink and dishwasher line with shut-offs relocated for service access.
- Lighting on a dimmer circuit plus task lighting under the uppers and a new range hood vented to exterior.
- Flooring replacement at the seam — LVP pulled tight to the existing thresholds in adjoining rooms.
Materials and assemblies on this project
Materials were selected against the project’s scope, code requirements, and the homeowner’s written specifications. The list below names the principal assemblies and the families of products that went into the project.
- Quartz countertops and solid-surface edges at the wet areas (where applicable).
- LVP flooring from a Tier-1 manufacturer with attached pad and matching transition trims.
- ENERGY STAR windows and exterior doors flashed and taped to the sheathing.
- Sealed-duct HVAC system right-sized against a Manual J/S/T load calculation.
- Low-VOC paint at all interior surfaces with manufacturer-recommended cure time.
